Vacation Cafe NPC Quests: Quick Slice, Guitarist and Maria
Verified NPC rewards including Quick Slice, the guitarist income perk and Maria’s inventory apron.

Quick Slice — Mysterious Watcher
A mysterious NPC asks the player to chop ingredients. After completing the observed task, the reward changes slicing so the player can hold the button instead of repeatedly clicking.
Guitarist — guest income perk
The guitarist asks for a dish or drink. After the player provides one, the game displays a perk that increases income from guests by 20%. Check the reward in the Skills window after finishing the request; the +20% applies to guest income, not a stated multiplier for every money source.
Maria — apron and inventory space
A shopkeeper named Maria asks the player to fetch ice cream because she cannot leave the counter. The reward is an apron with deep pockets; the player immediately notices an extra inventory slot.
Check rewards in the Skills window
Update 1.0.7 collects all acquired skills in one window and fixes acquired skills being lost after a game update. After a character hands over a reward, open that window and check for it before repeating the request. A missing skill after an older update is a different problem from a request you have not completed.
The same update stops skills earned in a multiplayer lobby from carrying into a client’s separate single-player save. Check the save and lobby you are actually playing. A perk visible while visiting a host is not proof that your solo character permanently gained it.

These are demonstrated rewards, not a complete list of every NPC quest. Read each current request before preparing an item: the guitarist’s exact dish can differ from a generic “food/drink” description. Maria’s task asks for ice cream, so do not substitute another dessert merely because it uses the same workstation.
Quick Slice after 1.0.7
Auto-slicing now also works when the same product occupies a second inventory slot. The Perfetto station cuts only the product in the active slot. Select the intended ingredient before holding the input, especially if two slots contain different food. This separates a slot-selection problem from a missing Quick Slice skill.
The update also adds an auto-cycle setting for workstations. Try it at the station you repeatedly use before buying extra equipment solely to remove clicks. The notes do not give every station’s cycle timing, so check the result on your current recipe.
