How deliveries work in the observed build

  1. Check the delivery order on the board.
  2. Prepare the requested food / drink using the normal kitchen stations.
  3. Use the order-assembly area and put the items into a Delivery Bag.
  4. Take the numbered order out into town and deliver it to the indicated destination.

Delivery Bags

The footage shows bags being purchased as cafe supplies and used for packing orders. Bag prices can change between versions and shops — check the current cafe supplies price in-game.

Important menu caveat

Co-op players state that removing a dish from the normal cafe menu does not necessarily stop delivery orders from requesting it. This is marked Player Reported because it comes from current-session observation rather than an official rules page.

Efficient delivery routine

Combine delivery trips with shopping, Ancient Coin searching and the Vinyl Record Shop route when the destination sends you uphill through town.

Version 1.0.6 (Sep 10)

Official hotfix. New customization materials for the cafe’s exterior walls, an improved sign and sign editor, and a new quest that introduces the order board to players who had not found it. The Level 1 and Level 2 fish cleaning stations gained hints, Level 2 mixing station interaction was improved, the cappuccino material was updated, and the oyster shucking and fish cleaning station visuals were refined.

Fixes that matter: the delivery van no longer refuses to leave, the water tank state after using a full watering can is correct, delivery now works properly while a perk is active, and you can no longer collect the same delivery order twice.

Version 1.0.3 — deliveries survive a drop

Official notes: orders now survive disconnections. Coming back, you still see the active order. Board numbering, order assembly, and perk tracking on completed orders were fixed. Extra dishes no longer lock a table — the guest eats the extra food.

Version 1.0.7 (Sep 24) — new dishes, no delivery changes

The 1.0.7 notes add new guest orders featuring the new dishes but do not change the delivery flow above — orders still come off the board, get packed at the assembly station and go out in Delivery Bags.

What the official roadmap says about delivery (announced, not live)

The After-Launch Roadmap (Sep 22) lists “Sync delivery orders with the daily menu” as a planned feature. It is not in the 1.0.7 or 1.0.8 patch notes, so until an update ships it, treat the player-reported menu caveat above as still current — the developer has not confirmed that delivery orders follow your daily menu.

Update 1.0.9 note (Oct 8)

  • The guest and delivery order pools were refreshed and the Guest Orders window was reworked, so a run that used to repeat the same handful of orders can now show new ones. The roadmap item “sync delivery orders with the daily menu” is still not in any patch note — the caveat above stands.
