What Steam officially confirms about Online Co-op, plus clearly labeled player-observed behavior from long co-op sessions.

What carries over from solo play
The core jobs remain familiar: cleaning, ingredient prep, cooking, serving, buying supplies and exploring the town. Co-op footage shows players splitting those tasks naturally between kitchen and supply runs.
Menu and workflow
One player can prepare food while another handles drinks, dishes or shopping. The relaxed “no timers” design means the group can close the cafe, reorganize and reopen after a supply run.
Player-observed issues
- Long co-op footage shows occasional short freezes / “thinking” moments while multiple interactions are happening.
- Players report delivery orders may request dishes removed from the dine-in menu.
- Some participants discuss different progression timing between solo and multiplayer, but those exact numbers are not treated as official until verified.
Co-op party size
Steam officially confirms Online Co-op. The exact player count in the game UI is the current source of truth for party size.
